Things to do
Discover the beauty of Botrivier and all that Beaumont Family Wines has to offer. Nestled in the foothills of the Houw Hoek Mountains, our historic farm is the perfect base to explore the area. Wander along scenic vineyard walks, enjoy mountain biking through the fynbos-covered hills, or spend a relaxing afternoon fishing in our peaceful farm dams. Our working watermill and rich winemaking heritage offer a glimpse into the history that shapes everything we do.
Hiking
Our mountain offers amazing trails, which you can walk or run! Our trails can be enjoyed as self-guided trips. There is also the opportunity to join a 4 day slackpacking hike, ending up at Beaumont. Check our the Greenmountain Trail.
We are proud members of the Groenlandberg Conservancy and actively involved in number of conservation initiatives. See below for a Map

Birding
We have some wonderful birdlife on the farm so don’t forget your binoculars! Bird spotters are welcome to search out the wide variety of bird species found on the farm and in the mountain.
